BookPig- a Book Subscription Service – Just Like Netflix!

Most of us are pretty familiar with Netflix- a subscription service where DVD’s are sent right to your door and you can keep swapping them out. But did you know that there is a program like that for kids books? It’s called Book Pig!
Basically you pay a monthly fee, just like Netflix, and depending on the level of subscription you can order a set amount of books to swap out once or twice a month. They offer board books all the way up to high school books! If you’re busy and can’t squeeze in constant trips to the library- you may want to consider this!
Personally we will probably just keep going to the library but this works great for families who aren’t close to libraries, have special needs, or are just plain too busy! The books come addressed to your children which I thought was really cool! (You never have to pay shipping- it’s just like Netflix.) They actually have a very impressive list of books!! Typically their plans start at $12.99 per month, but Plum District has a special sale today that I found- only $13 for a 2 month subscription!
